Engecer is a result of an association between Venture Capital and Advanced Materials researchers from São Carlos Federal University (UFSCar) and São Paulo State University (USP).
By research efforts started at São Carlos Technology Incubator in 1987, Engecer consolidate a leadership position as a producer of high and advanced ceramic components (alumina and zirconia) and as a producer of polishing powders for hard surfaces (Cerium oxide and aluminum oxide).

Engecer, with the support of the Universities and research centers, develops innovative projects based on ceramic technology suitable for industry challenges, like in a manufactury or critical spare components or in the conception of new solutions on technical ceramics.
